The Pyrenées have everything to offer; kayaking, rafting, climbing, walking, mountain biking and in the winter months skiing, snowboarding and husky sleigh rides. There are countless amazing attractions to visit, such as the Labouiche underground river, which is a most unusual cruise: 60 m underground, comfortably seated in a boat, you will be taken along the underground river over a distance of nearly 1,5 km, from rooms to galleries decorated with a host of concretions and pools – a very cool thing to do on a very hot day!

There are many beautiful places to visit including the Cathar Castles and Abbeys. Lastours is a must, four castle ruins perched on the edge of cragy rocks, dating back to the 11th Century. Other castles include Montsegur, Quéribus and Peyrepertuse, each has magnificent views over the valleys below and the mountains all around. All the castles have footpaths leading up that can be steep but still easily walkable.
